Musicians will perform on the main stage at the Capitol. The highlight will be the oath-taking ceremony of Donald Trump and Vice President Jay D. Vance. Trump will deliver an inaugural speech outlining plans for the next four years.
The program includes the signing of important documents in the presidential room, a ceremonial lunch hosted by Congress, and a parade down Pennsylvania Avenue. The day will conclude with three festive balls – the Commander-in-Chief Ball, Liberty Inaugural Ball, and Starlight Ball.
The musical program will kick off with American Idol winner Carrie Underwood performing America the Beautiful.
