On the night of February 16, Russian military forces launched missile and drone strikes against Ukraine. Explosions were reported in several cities.
This information was shared in monitoring Telegram channels, which noted that the enemy began shelling as early as 9:00 PM on February 15.
Explosions occurred this night in three regions, with one of them being targeted by "Iskander" missiles.
Last night, explosions were heard in Mykolaiv around 00:50, followed by another round of blasts shortly thereafter.
According to Mykolaiv Mayor Alexander Senkevich, at least one person was injured as a result of the incident. Additionally, several fires broke out after the attack, damaging infrastructure and civilian facilities.
"In Mykolaiv, the attack by Shahed drones caused a fire, and there is damage to a store. Currently, one injury has been reported. All services are operational," he stated.
The monitoring channel "Mykolaiv Vanyk" also reports that one of the attacking drones crashed in the city center.
"There are fires and damages to various infrastructure and civilian facilities. There was a hit right on Central Avenue, but it should not affect traffic. All information is being verified, and more will be known in the morning," the message states.
The Russians attacked the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of Odesa region with "Iskander-M" missiles. The enemy launched the missiles around 04:30.
Monitoring reports indicate that two ballistic missiles were used in the strike against the region.
There is currently no official information regarding the consequences of the explosions.
At 03:20, monitoring channels reported explosions in the city of Staroconstantiniv.
Prior to this, there were reports of a threat from strike UAVs.

Earlier, "Telegraph" reported that on the night of February 13, Russia again launched a massive strike on Odesa region. As a result of the attack, a local resident was injured and civilian facilities in the Izmail and Odesa districts were damaged. The enemy attack also caused damage to port infrastructure and an inactive educational institution.
