In Kyiv, a car crashed into a barrier and flipped over, causing a massive traffic jam on the Paton Bridge (video).

On Tuesday, December 3rd, a serious accident occurred on the Paton Bridge in Kyiv. As a result, a significant traffic jam formed in the direction of the right bank, with car parts scattered across the roadway.

All emergency services of the capital were present at the scene. This information has been reported by local Telegram channels.

It is known that the driver of a Skoda passenger car lost control and crashed into the speed limit barriers on the Paton Bridge. Consequently, the vehicle flipped onto its roof and sustained severe mechanical damage.

Several rescue crews arrived at the scene to evacuate the car. There is no information about the driver's condition. It is also unclear whether there were passengers in the vehicle.

Meanwhile, an ambulance was on site, and medics can be seen near the car in the video.

This resulted in an enormous traffic jam on the bridge heading towards the right bank. Cars lined up in an endless queue, virtually coming to a standstill.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance and avoid traveling on the Paton Bridge.

The causes and circumstances of the accident are being investigated.

Earlier, "Telegraph" reported that an accident occurred on the exit from the Paton Bridge, during which the driver of a KIA vehicle crashed into a guardrail. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the vehicle sustained mechanical damage.
