22-year-old Maria was swimming among large sea creatures during her performance when suddenly one of the fish, likely a sturgeon, grabbed her by the head. Terrified spectators, including many children, witnessed the incident.
Thanks to her quick reaction and decisive actions, Maria managed to escape the clutches of the dangerous fish and surfaced. However, she sustained injuries including pain in her head, neck, and a damaged eye. The glasses and nose clips that were part of her costume were eaten by the fish.
Despite her injuries and pain, the 22-year-old performer was compelled to continue her show.
