In Ukraine, purebred dogs are often sold at quite high prices. However, there are instances when pets are not sold but given away for free. Finding a good owner isn’t always easy on the first try.
An appropriate advertisement has been posted on one of Ukraine's popular marketplaces. A resident of the Saksagansky district in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, is giving away German Shepherd puppies for free to caring homes.
These puppies are female, born on January 21, 2025, and are currently being raised by their mother. They are expected to be given to new owners in early March.
Here’s what the puppies look like.
And here’s a photo of the puppies' mother.
"The female puppies were born on 21.01.2025. We will give them away for free to good homes in early March, as they are still being raised by their mother. A loyal and devoted friend and guardian is waiting for their new owners," — the advertisement description states.
The German Shepherd is a breed classified by the International Canine Federation as "herding and shepherd dogs." They are often utilized as service dogs by military personnel, police, border guards, rescuers, and other representatives of law enforcement agencies in many countries around the world.
This breed first appeared in Germany at the end of the 19th century, and Max von Stephanitz is considered its creator. These dogs have a slightly elongated and muscular body, easily adapt to new conditions, and are loyal to their owners.
Previously, "Telegraph" reported that for 600 US dollars, one could obtain a "personal copy" of the dog Patron. A puppy of this breed still needs proper training.
