Poland has deployed its air force in response to the Russian attacks on Ukraine.

On the morning of January 15, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine using cruise missiles and aerial bombs. In response, Poland has raised its combat aviation, as reported by the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces on social media platform X, as noted by UNN.

They clarified that, in accordance with current procedures, the Operational Command has mobilized all available forces and resources, and pairs of fighter jets have been launched into the air. Additionally, ground-based air defense systems and radar reconnaissance units have been put on high alert.

The command specified that these measures are aimed at ensuring safety in areas bordering the threat zones.

On the morning of January 15, an air alert was declared in several regions of Ukraine due to the threat of missile attacks. Prior to this, a group of Tu-95MS bombers took off from the Russian airbase "Olenya."
