In the Sumy region, a massive bombardment of the local communities has been recorded, with the enemy carrying out a total of 71 shellings, resulting in 116 explosions. This information was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, as conveyed by UNN.

The communities affected by the attacks include Yunakivka, Myropil, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velykopysarivka, Novoslobodske, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyno-Buda, and Znob-Novhorodske.

The most intense bombardment was observed in the Velykopysarivka community, where artillery strikes (24 explosions) and FPV-drone attacks (5 explosions) were recorded. Other communities also suffered: Seredyno-Buda - a drop of VOG from a UAV (8 explosions), Bilopillia - mortar strikes and drone attacks (5 explosions), Esman - mortar hits (3 explosions), FPV-drone strikes (8 explosions), and UAV attacks (2 explosions).

The Krasnopillia community faced a powerful strike from the enemy, including a drop of VOG from a UAV (13 explosions), FPV-drone hits (2 explosions), mortar and artillery shelling (15 explosions), as well as fire from a mounted anti-tank grenade launcher (4 explosions). In the Hlukhiv community, a drop of VOG from a UAV (2 explosions) and an FPV-drone attack (1 explosion) were recorded; in Znob-Novhorodske - drone strikes (3 explosions); in Myropil - (4 explosions); in Yunakivka - mortar hits (9 explosions) and FPV-drone strikes (2 explosions); in Novoslobodske - a drop of VOG from a UAV (1 explosion); and in Shalyhyne - FPV-drone attacks (3 explosions).

Additionally, it became known that the day before, during the evening, an FPV-drone strike was carried out on the Velykopysarivka community, resulting in the death of one civilian.
