The UK Ministry of Defence announced this on social media platform X.
British intelligence data shows how Russian occupier losses have increased each year:
- In 2022 — 105,960;
- In 2023 — 252,940;
- In 2024 — 429,660.
Total losses since the beginning of the full-scale war have exceeded 790,000.
The highest losses last year occurred in December, with 48,670 killed and wounded. This is more than in any other month of the war.
Throughout the second half of 2024, Russian losses have been consistently increasing.
“In recent months, Russia has suffered more losses in Ukraine than at any other time during its illegal invasion,” emphasizes the UK Ministry of Defence.
