As reported by RBK-Ukraine, Fico's statement is cited by Dennik N. This information comes from Kontrakty.UA.
Fico expressed his dissatisfaction after Zelensky's proposal to begin the transit of Azerbaijani gas to Europe. In his view, "nothing is ready on this issue, and no project is being discussed."
The head of the Slovak government imagined that the Ukrainian president "is inflating bubbles because he thinks it will free him from difficult decisions."
"Our enemy is Zelensky. Zelensky created the problems we have. I don't like him because he is harming Slovakia," Fico added.
At a meeting of the parliamentary economic committee, Fico again threatened to block decisions regarding aid to Ukraine. On Thursday, January 30, he plans to discuss gas supply issues with the European Commission.
Fico's Threats
It is worth noting that Fico was displeased with Ukraine's rejection of his request to extend the transit of Russian gas in 2025. Since then, he has continued to make threats.
In particular, the Slovak Prime Minister threatened to stop electricity exports to Ukraine.
He also promised that his country would significantly reduce assistance to Ukrainian refugees who are in Slovakia due to the full-scale war in Ukraine.
