One of the priciest breeds in Ukraine: dogs with a quirky name are up for sale in Kyiv (photos).

In Kyiv, puppies of Bernedoodles and Goldendoodles (Labradoodles) are being offered for sale, set to be born soon. The price for such a pet is 4,000 euros, which is nearly 175,000 hryvnias at today's exchange rate.

The corresponding advertisement was posted on a popular Ukrainian buying and selling website. It mentions that these dogs have a thick and curly coat, and they do not shed.

The author of the ad assures that the puppies' mother is from China, while the father is from Germany.

"The first in Ukraine. From magnificent parents with genetic tests. Import from China, father imported from Germany. We are in Kyiv," reads the announcement.

It’s worth noting that the Goldendoodle (Labradoodle) is a designer dog breed (mixed breed) that originated from the crossbreeding of a Labrador Retriever and a standard or miniature Poodle.

The Bernedoodle breed is the result of crossing a Poodle with a Bernese Mountain Dog, developed in Canada in 2003.
