Regular military support for Kyiv from the West could compel Putin to make concessions, according to the ISW.

The theory of victory for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is based on the assumption that the West will abandon Ukraine. However, ongoing Western military support for Kyiv may compel him to make concessions.
Регулярная военная поддержка Киева со стороны Запада может заставить Путина пойти на уступки, - ISW.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing a report from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW). This information is also provided by Kontrakty.UA.

Analysts emphasized that this refers specifically to regular assistance.

"Only unwavering support from the West and continuous supplies of Western military aid to Kyiv can compel Putin to relinquish his territory and accept the necessity of making concessions essential for any resolution of the conflict that is acceptable to the U.S., Europe, and Ukraine," the report states.

At the same time, ISW continues to believe that only the United States can provide Ukraine with some critically important weapons and military equipment at the scale, speed, and regularity needed to defend our country against Russia.

The report also mentions that recently Western officials suggested that European states should increasingly assist in funding U.S. military aid to Ukraine.

U.S. Assistance to Ukraine

It is worth noting that recently the administration of the new U.S. President Donald Trump froze funding for foreign aid programs and grant distributions. Western media speculate that this issue likely pertains to military assistance to Ukraine as well.

Meanwhile, the head of the Information Counteraction Center, Andriy Kovalenko, denies this information, stating that military aid to Kyiv from the U.S. has not ceased.

"U.S. military assistance to Ukraine CONTINUES through the military aid packages that were approved earlier. I will provide more details later, but please do not panic over sensational headlines and do not misinterpret," Kovalenko wrote on Telegram.
