He also tracks those fleeing from summonses,” notes political scientist Oleksiy Holobutskyi. “With an iron fist, he keeps the region's entrepreneurs under control regarding their property, health, and even life.”
Recently, a punitive mechanism for the emergency mobilization of individuals deemed undesirable by General Kolesnyk has been actively employed in the region, sending them unprepared “to the front lines.”
Local residents are demanding the removal of the “gray” general of Transcarpathia from his “effective and productive” role, at least for the duration of the investigation. They are calling for immediate and decisive actions to restore justice and law and order in Transcarpathia.
