Trump has dismissed the chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.

General Brown is stepping down from his position, and Trump envisions Dan Cain as his successor, someone who was previously overlooked by Biden.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has decided to dismiss Charles Brown from his position as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Reports TCN. This information has been shared by Kontrakty.UA.

 

The American leader announced this on his social media platform, Truth Social.

"I want to thank General Charles Brown for over 40 years of service to our country. He is a wonderful gentleman and an outstanding leader, and I wish him and his family a fantastic future," the statement reads.

Trump did not clarify the reasons for Brown's dismissal and proposed Dan Cain as his replacement.

"General Cain is an experienced pilot, a national security expert, a successful entrepreneur, and a 'fighter' with significant experience in interagency and special operations. Despite having high qualifications and respect, sleepy Joe Biden overlooked him for promotion. But not anymore!" Trump declared.

It is worth noting that the USAID Inspector General was dismissed on February 12, 2025, a day after his office released a report criticizing President Donald Trump's administration's efforts to eliminate the agency.
