"This is a challenge for Kim": the Center for Political Studies explains the failure of North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region.

North Korean military forces experienced a setback in the Kursk region due to their lack of training to counter drones and artillery. They are currently collaborating with Russian commanders and their own officers.
"Это проблема для Кима": в ЦПД объяснили неудачи солдатов КНДР в Курской области.

As reported by RBK-Ukraine, this was stated by the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalенко, in Telegram. This information is also shared by Kontrakty.UA.

Kovalенко noted that North Korean soldiers have suffered significant losses and are currently engaged in "lessons learned" sessions with Russian commanders and their own officers.

He remarked that it is still too early to say that they will cease their active participation in the war. They are expected to continue to be actively involved.

"Another major issue for Kim is that North Koreans have been captured, in addition to which there is clear documentation of the bodies of fallen Koreans. The Russians were supposed to ensure maximum anonymity regarding their participation in battles according to initial agreements, but they failed to do so," Kovalенко wrote.

Fighting in the Kursk Region

At the end of last summer, Ukrainian forces captured significant areas of territory in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. In response, Russia was compelled to engage military personnel from North Korea in combat operations. However, due to poor training and a language barrier, North Korean soldiers incurred substantial losses.

It is worth recalling that political technologist Taras Zahorodny assessed whether U.S. President Donald Trump could persuade North Korea to stop aiding Russia in the war. During his first term, Trump attempted to establish relations with the DPRK and even met with Kim Jong-un.

We also reported that North Korean soldiers were transported to Russia by ferry and then by train. According to one of the captives among the North Korean troops, they were in complete information isolation.
