Putin's administration has presented its version of the reasons behind the war in Ukraine.

Moscow is reportedly ready for negotiations, according to statements from the Kremlin.
В Кремле представили свою версию причин начала войны в Украине.

In the Russian Federation, officials continue to blame Ukraine and the West for the onset of the war, claiming it was triggered by their actions. They argue that there was a threat to Russia's security. Reports TCN. This information comes from Kontrakty.UA.

The statement was made by Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the authoritarian president of Russia.

According to him, "the conflict (as the Russian Federation refers to the war — Ed.) in Ukraine is not influenced by oil prices." Peskov reiterated that the war allegedly began "due to threats to Russia's security and the complete disregard of the West for Moscow's concerns."

Furthermore, the spokesperson for the "leader" once again accused Ukraine, specifically President Volodymyr Zelensky, of refusing to engage in negotiations.

It should be noted that the Russian "leader" Vladimir Putin stated that he is ready to meet with Donald Trump, the President of the United States. Moscow is supposedly awaiting "signals" from Washington.
