Today's statements from dictator Putin indicate that he intends to continue the war at least through 2025. Reports TSN. This information comes from Kontrakty.UA.
This opinion was expressed by the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council, Lieutenant Andrii Kovalenko, in Telegram.
"Putin is once again publicly demonstrating his desire to continue fighting. He behaves this way because he has the resources to sustain the war through 2025," Kovalenko believes.
For this reason, the head of the CCD urges to intensify economic strikes against Russia. He refers to both sanctions and strikes on Russia's oil facilities.
"We need economic blows to Russia, targeting their ability to sell energy resources, the prices of these resources, as well as tightening the screws both from the West and leaders of the Global South. Energy is the main tool for financing the war, and Russia must constantly feel the pressure," Kovalenko states.
According to his information, there were over 80 attacks on Russian oil facilities during 2024.
Recall that today, dictator Putin claimed that he offered Kyiv in February 2022 to withdraw the Armed Forces from Donbas in exchange for ending the war.
He also concocted a new reason why Russia cannot initiate peace talks with Ukraine.
