The U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, stated that Ukraine's losses in the war are three times greater than the combined losses of the U.S. in Vietnam and Korea. Reports TSN. This information was shared by Kontrakty.UA.
He declared this during a Ukrainian lunch at the Munich Security Conference.
"If you look at the level of destruction in Mariupol, you can imagine an American city completely devastated. This is the scale of World War II,” Kellogg emphasized.
According to him, the Donald Trump administration is working on stopping the war and ensuring the protection and sovereignty of Ukraine.
“The president has been in the White House for less than 30 days, but he has already achieved more in resolving the conflict than the previous administration did in three years,” Kellogg stated.
He stressed that Trump views the war not only through the lens of weaponry or economic factors but from a humanitarian perspective.
“This is a matter of human lives. We must stop this. However, it is crucial to ensure reliable protection for Ukraine and its right to sovereignty,” he added.
Recall that Keith Kellogg, who participated in a meeting with the Ukrainian delegation at the Munich Security Conference, announced his visit to Ukraine.
