The President of the United States, Donald Trump, may be able to resolve the war in Ukraine. According to Finnish leader Alexander Stubb, the American leader is capable of achieving this within six months. Reports TSN. This information is provided by Kontrakty.UA.
Stubb made this statement at the World Economic Forum in Davos, writes journalist Andriy Tsapliienko.
"I believe that the timeframe has shifted from a promise of 24 hours (Trump's commitment before the elections — ed.) to a window somewhere between three and six months. This is likely the opportunity window we are dealing with," he noted.
Stubb added that the decision regarding Ukraine should not become "Afghanistan 2.0," where mediators of the "agreement" are later accused of having "sold Ukraine."
Previously, the new U.S. President Donald Trump instructed his special representative for Ukraine, Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, to end the war in a hundred days. However, journalists believe that Kellogg's role as a special envoy is more of a "preliminary gambit" in the peace negotiations that Trump intends to oversee himself.
