Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an interview with the publication Bloomberg.
"He does not think about the people. For him, these people (the losses of Russia - Ed.) are nothing. His goal is to prevent Ukraine from living freely. It is extremely important for him to destroy our independence. This is his goal; I believe it is the goal of his entire life," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.
Recall that earlier President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about whether he would give up territories in exchange for peace. The head of state stressed that for Ukraine, the occupied territories will always remain Ukrainian until they are returned under the control of the state.
