The lightweight boxer Denis Berinchik (20-1, 9 KOs) lost the WBO title in a match against American Keshawn Davis (13-0, 9 KOs). The Ukrainian "Thunder" was caught sleeping the night before the championship fight.

A sleeping Berinchik appeared on a live broadcast before the fight. One user joked that this is how Europeans look when they decide to watch a boxing evening in the USA.

Unfortunately, the sleep did not help Denis secure a victory. In the fourth round, Davis knocked out Berinchik and became the new world champion according to the WBO.

It is worth noting that during media week, Davis provocatively taunted Berinchik using trash talk. The American accused the Ukrainian of racism due to a package that contained bananas and a watermelon. At the weigh-in, Dennis pushed his opponent from behind, nearly sparking a fight before the match.
