It's cold and snowy. Kyiv is bracing for temperatures to drop to -12 degrees with icy conditions ahead.

The beginning of this week in Kyiv, from February 17 to 19, will be mostly cloudy, frosty, and occasionally wet. Therefore, meteorologists are warning residents of Kyiv about the risk of ice.

During these days, the temperature will fluctuate between -2 and -4 degrees during the day and from -9 to -11 degrees at night. This forecast was provided by the Meteofor resource.

On Monday, February 17, the weather will predominantly be cloudy. A light snow fell at night. The temperature during the day will drop to -4 degrees, while at night it will be colder at -9 degrees. The strongest gusts of wind are expected during the day, reaching a moderate speed of 6 m/s.

On Tuesday, February 18, clear skies are anticipated, but it will be the coldest day of the week. The temperature will fall to -2 degrees during the day, and at night it will drop to -11 degrees. The maximum wind speed is expected during the day at a moderate 6 m/s.

On Wednesday, February 19, the city will see clouds again along with some precipitation. Light wet snow is expected to fall during the second half of the day. The temperature will not drop below -2 degrees during the day, and at night it will be -10 degrees. The strongest wind gusts are expected around noon, reaching fresh speeds of 8 m/s.
