Why Zelensky hasn't signed the resource agreement: Journalist reveals new details.

Zelensky noted that Ukraine did not receive security guarantees.
Журналист раскрыл новые подробности о том, почему Зеленский не подписал соглашение о ресурсах.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, refused to sign an agreement that would allow the United States to obtain 50 percent of mineral reserves.

This was reported on social media platform "X" (formerly "Twitter") by Washington Post journalist Josh Rogin. Initially, he mentioned that a Congressional delegation presented Zelensky with the relevant document, but the Ukrainian leader declined to sign it.

Rogin further clarified: during a meeting with U.S. representatives, Zelensky rejected the agreement because it did not include any security guarantees for Ukraine.

It is worth noting that U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Ukraine agreed to grant the United States access to rare earth metal deposits worth $500 billion as compensation for military assistance provided.

Additionally, during a press conference at the White House, Trump expressed his desire to establish rare earth metal supplies from Ukraine in exchange for continued support to Kyiv. The topic of rare earth metal supplies was discussed last year when Zelensky met with Trump and presented him with a "Victory Plan."

Earlier, "Telegraph" reported that Zelensky made a statement about Ukrainian mineral resources.
