Trump's team has indicated when sanctions against Russia will be lifted.

The response came after negotiations with Russia.
Трамп сообщил, когда могут быть сняты санкции с России.

The U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the United States has no plans to lift sanctions against the Russian Federation following a bilateral meeting in Saudi Arabia.

This is reported by Bloomberg. The head of the State Department reassured U.S. allies in Europe that Donald Trump will not lift sanctions against Russia, at least until an agreement is reached to end the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Rubio also noted that in the event of a peace treaty, both Russia and Ukraine will likely have to make mutual concessions.

It is worth recalling that the main negotiators for Ukraine from the U.S. side in Saudi Arabia include Secretary of State Mark Rubio, Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, and CIA Director John Ratcliffe. The Russian delegation was led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov, and the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev.

The negotiations between Russia and the U.S. in Riyadh have raised concerns among the leadership of Ukraine and the European Union countries.

It is also important to note that Trump’s special representative, Kit Kellogg, participated in the Munich Security Conference, where he stated that "no one will impose" a peace agreement on Vladimir Zelensky with Moscow against the will of Kyiv.
