Small dogs with distinctive appearances make it easy to differentiate dachshunds from other breeds. However, even these little ones have a mini version. Long-haired miniature dachshunds come in cream, red, black, and even brindle colors. Cream-colored puppies are light without any black shades and have white whiskers and light nails.

Such dogs are usually valued higher than standard-colored dachshunds. In Ukraine, in the Kyiv region, a cream miniature dachshund puppy is priced at 2000 euros, which is equivalent to 85,800 UAH. The puppy is sold as a pet rather than for breeding. "There are no such puppies in Ukraine," the author notes.

Miniature dachshunds do not grow large. They weigh between 4.5 and 5 kg, with a height ranging from 15 to 20 cm at the shoulder. Cream dachshunds are typically more expensive than others. Besides color, factors such as the breeder's reputation, the dog's pedigree, and registration also influence the price.

Prices for cream mini dachshunds worldwide

Renowned breeders usually set prices from 1500 to 2000 US dollars (62 – 82 thousand UAH). "English cream" dachshunds, a subtype of cream dachshunds, can be more expensive — there are reports of a sale by the Creme of the Crop Dachshunds kennel for 5000 dollars (207 thousand UAH). The cream color of English dachshunds originates from the chinchilla gene, which dilutes the fur pigments. Cream dachshunds are not classified as a separate breed.
