In an interview with Euractiv, the president of Kongsberg, Eirik Lee, stated, as reported by Kontrakty.
"We are currently establishing a company in Ukraine. We are engaged in close negotiations with the Ukrainian industry to create a joint venture. Our primary goal is to increase the production of missiles for our air defense system in Ukraine using Ukrainian technology. We are talking about serial production of missiles, meaning hundreds. We plan to set up joint ventures within a few months," Lee explained.
The company's president mentioned that Kongsberg aims to harness the capabilities of Ukrainian industry for the long term, even after the war concludes.
