Support for Ukraine from Germany
Germany is one of Ukraine's key partners in military, financial, and humanitarian support. Since the onset of the full-scale war, Germany has provided a significant amount of defense equipment, including air defense systems, Leopard 2 tanks, howitzers, ammunition, and demining tools.
The country is also actively supporting Ukraine in training military personnel and providing assistance to strengthen energy infrastructure.
Recently, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated during a briefing that Berlin has sent the sixth IRIS-T air defense system to Ukraine.
