The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, expressed gratitude during a meeting with his Dutch counterpart, Kaspar Veldkamp, for his country's decision to allocate 1 billion euros for artillery ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The head of Ukraine's foreign ministry also expressed special thanks to the Netherlands for enhancing Ukraine's air defense capabilities.
“A radar and three launchers of the Patriot air defense system have been guarding our skies since the end of last year. The Netherlands is also continuing to transfer F-16s, missiles, and armaments for them,” noted the minister.
The parties focused on further strengthening Ukraine's air defense capabilities and increasing Dutch investments in Ukrainian arms production, particularly drones.
The Dutch Foreign Minister assured of continued unwavering support for Ukraine and announced the allocation of additional aid packages: 7 million euros through UCAP under NATO coordination and 20 million euros for the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine.
Andrii Sybiha expressed gratitude to the Netherlands and the entire Dutch people for their sincere and steadfast support of our country in countering Russian aggression.
It is worth noting that earlier, National Guard fighters received 155-mm self-propelled artillery systems DITA from the Netherlands.
