The goal of the Kremlin's dictator Vladimir Putin is not to end the war, but to establish personal contacts with Donald Trump, which would allow him to make the U.S. president an accomplice in his war. Reports TSN. This information has been shared by Kontrakty.UA.
This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian journalist and publicist Vitaliy Portnikov on his YouTube channel.
"Putin's aim is not at all to conclude the war, but to have personal interactions with Trump that would enable him to make the U.S. president an accomplice in his war against Ukraine. In other words, to meet with Trump against the backdrop of this war and the killings perpetrated by Russian armed forces. That is the portfolio of desires brought to Riyadh by Yuri Ushakov and Sergey Lavrov," the journalist stated.
Portnikov emphasized that the question is whether Marco Rubio, Mike Waltz, and Steve Woitkoff – top U.S. officials who are currently in negotiations in Saudi Arabia – will agree to accept this portfolio as a gift for Trump.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine was unaware of the negotiations in Saudi Arabia, would not participate in them, and would not recognize any agreements concerning itself without its involvement.
