Порошенко, Коломойский и Медведчук попали под санкции СНБО: что это значит?

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine referring to the presidential decree. This information is provided by Kontrakty.UA.

The sanctions list includes:

  • Petro Poroshenko;
  • Igor Kolomoisky;
  • Gennady Bogolyubov;
  • Konstantin Zhevago;
  • Viktor Medvedchuk.

Petro Poroshenko

Sanctions have been imposed against Petro Poroshenko, which include the revocation of state awards of Ukraine and other forms of recognition. His assets are subject to blocking, which entails a temporary prohibition on their use and disposal, including through affiliated individuals or companies. A complete cessation of trade operations has also been established, significantly limiting his economic activities.

Additionally, he is prohibited from the transit of resources, transportation, and flights over the territory of Ukraine, as well as from transferring capital abroad. The sanctions include a halt to the fulfillment of economic and financial obligations and a ban on participation in the privatization or rental of state property. Restrictions have been imposed on the use of the radio frequency spectrum and a complete cessation of providing electronic communication services.

Poroshenko is also forbidden from conducting public and defense procurements, and foreign vessels and military ships associated with him are barred from entering Ukrainian ports and airspace. There are restrictions on increasing the charter capital of companies in which he has a stake or influence. The sanctions also impose a ban on acquiring land parcels, entering into contracts regarding securities, as well as the payment of dividends or other corporate payments.

Igor Kolomoisky

A series of sanctions have been imposed against Igor Kolomoisky, including the revocation of state awards of Ukraine and other forms of recognition. Asset blocking has also been applied, which means a temporary deprivation of the right to use and dispose of property owned directly by him or under his control through other individuals or legal entities. Additionally, a complete cessation of trade operations has been established, restricting his ability to conduct business activities.

The sanctions include restrictions on the transit of resources, flights, and transportation over the territory of Ukraine, as well as preventing the outflow of capital abroad. The execution of economic and financial obligations has been halted, affecting Kolomoisky's business interests. He is prohibited from participating in the privatization and rental of state property in Ukraine, as well as from using the country's radio frequency spectrum, which may have implications for associated companies in the communications sector.

Moreover, a ban has been imposed on public and defense procurements from companies linked to Kolomoisky, and foreign vessels and aircraft associated with him are prohibited from entering the territorial waters and airspace of Ukraine. The ability to increase the charter capital of enterprises in which he holds a stake has been limited, and trade agreements and industrial programs have been suspended. Additional restrictions have been introduced regarding the acquisition of land parcels and other sanctions, including a ban on entering into contracts, payment of dividends, and conducting transactions related to securities issued by his companies.

It is worth noting that the United States of America imposed sanctions against Kolomoisky and his family back in 2021. Meanwhile, in Ukraine, the authorities hesitated for a long time to take similar actions, allegedly because the U.S. did not provide Ukraine with the relevant documents on which Washington based its sanctions against the businessman.

Gennady Bogolyubov

A series of sanctions have been imposed against Gennady Bogolyubov, including the revocation of state awards of Ukraine and other forms of recognition. One of the key restrictions is asset blocking, which means a temporary prohibition on using and disposing of his property, as well as assets that may be under his control directly or through other individuals or legal entities. A complete cessation of trade operations has also been implemented, making it impossible to conduct business activities.

The sanctions include restrictions on the transit of resources, flights, and transportation over the territory of Ukraine, as well as preventing the outflow of capital abroad. The execution of economic and financial obligations has been halted, affecting companies associated with Bogolyubov. He is prohibited from participating in the privatization and rental of state property, as well as from using the radio frequency spectrum of Ukraine, which is significant for businesses in the communications and telecommunications sector.

Furthermore, a ban has been imposed on public and defense procurements from enterprises linked to Bogolyubov, and restrictions have been placed on the entry of foreign non-military vessels and military ships associated with him into the territorial waters and ports of Ukraine. A prohibition on increasing the charter capital of companies in which he has a stake has been established, and the execution of trade agreements and industrial programs has been halted. There are also restrictions on acquiring land parcels, a ban on entering into contracts, the payment of dividends, and conducting transactions related to the securities of his companies.

Konstantin Zhevago

Sanctions have been imposed against Konstantin Zhevago, which include the revocation of state awards of Ukraine and other forms of recognition.
