Sybiga illustrated three examples to explain why Russia is not seeking peace in the ongoing war.

Despite its constant declarations, Russia does not genuinely seek peace in the war. There are at least three key factors that support this assertion.

This was stated by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, as reported by a correspondent from RBK-Ukraine. This information is also provided by Kontrakty.UA.

"Russia does not want peace. Putin only desires war. They have not moved away from the language of ultimatums and capitulation. We are now in a new reality of Russian aggression," he said.

Elements Indicating That Russia Does Not Want Peace

The Foreign Minister named three elements that demonstrate that Russia truly does not want peace.

"The first - the involvement of North Korean military units. This signifies internationalization and a new dimension of aggression. The second - particularly during one of the most massive terrorist missile strikes on Ukrainian territory, the targeting of Ukraine's nuclear infrastructure. In other words, they are deliberately putting the entire world at risk of a nuclear incident," the minister noted.

The third element that indicates a new dimension of aggression, as Sybiha points out, is the missile strike with an experimental medium-range ballistic missile on one of the facilities in Dnipro.

"However, the actual purpose of this strike was to influence the consciousness, spirit, and public opinion of the West. They are well aware of the mentality, they excel in disinformation and propaganda. This attack was primarily aimed at intimidation and nuclear blackmail," he stated.

Massive Russian Strikes on Ukraine

In September, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha mentioned that Russia is preparing strikes on Ukraine's nuclear energy facilities before winter. Since the beginning of the year, the occupiers have attacked Ukraine's energy sector 11 times, two of which occurred in November, just on the 17th.

According to the Air Forces, during the strike on Ukraine on November 28, the invaders used 188 missiles and drones. There were 12 hits recorded, mostly on fuel and energy sector facilities. Meanwhile, the air defense shot down more than half of the launched targets.

Reacting to the massive attack by Russia, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that the Russians used "Caliber" cruise missiles with cluster munitions. In addition to energy facilities, damage was recorded in 14 regions, with casualties reported.
