This is reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing a statement from President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Sky News. This information is also provided by Kontrakty.UA.

"We will do everything possible to end this war. We have all the potential to conclude this war next year. We can achieve this, but only together with Europe, together with the USA, and, of course, together with Ukraine," the president stated.

Zelensky added that the future US President Donald Trump could exert significant pressure on Russia through the strengthening of Ukraine. The head of state also pointed to diplomatic avenues for ending the war.

"This could happen quickly, but it depends on the will. On the will of those who strive for it. Clearly, this is not easy and it won't happen tomorrow. But it could happen next year. I feel that way, but everything depends on the decisions and the will of other leaders," Zelensky declared.

Predictions regarding the end of the war

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine must do everything to end the war by 2025 through diplomatic means.

The head of state also mentioned that Ukraine supports diplomacy as a way to conclude the war. However, he emphasized that this should not cost Ukraine 30% of its territory.

In the Sky News interview, Zelensky also made a statement about ending the hot phase of the war. In his view, for this to happen, NATO must take the territories controlled by Ukraine under its "umbrella." The remaining territories, he believes, should be returned through diplomatic channels.

However, Zelensky stressed that such a proposal has never been offered to Ukraine.
