This is reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing the Twitter account of the President of Lithuania. This information is also conveyed by Kontrakty.UA.

"How cheap is your love? There are people who come to Russia with love and feel poisoned by gas when meeting a war criminal (Vladimir Putin, dictator - ed.). This is not Lithuania's path. We choose energy independence and real market prices - without any political ties!" - stated Nauseda.

Fico's Visit to Moscow

On December 22, Russian media reported on Fico's visit to Moscow and his meeting with the dictator of Russia, Putin. The day before, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić mentioned the possibility of such a visit, citing his own sources. According to him, the purpose of the negotiations could have been to discuss gas transit issues.

The details of the meeting remain unknown, as the Russian side has not provided any specific information. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov suggested that the discussion between Fico and Putin likely revolved around the transit of natural gas.

According to Fico, the visit was a response to Ukraine's unwillingness to continue the transit of Russian gas to Europe.
