This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press service of the Ministry of Strategic Industries (Minstrategprom). This information is also provided by Kontrakty.UA.

According to the press service, "Victory Weapon" is a list of priority models of armaments, military and special equipment, missiles and ammunition, unmanned systems, electronic warfare means, and robotic complexes produced domestically.

State customers of armaments and military equipment will need to consider this list when planning state procurement of armaments and military equipment (AME).

The "Victory Weapon" resolution also establishes the procedure for forming the list of priority models of AME. It is to be compiled by the Ministry of Defense based on the needs defined by the General Staff and state customers, taking into account the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense industry, as submitted by the Ministry of Strategic Industries.

The "Victory Weapon" list will be approved by the Cabinet upon the submission of the Ministry of Defense.

"The approval of the 'Victory Weapon' list should serve as a foundation for manufacturers to obtain long-term contracts - for 3/5/10 years - which will act as a booster in the development of the Ukrainian defense industry," said the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Herman Smetanin.

It should be noted that, according to the Ministry of Finance, more than 2.2 trillion hryvnias is allocated for the defense forces next year. Of this amount, 740 billion hryvnias will be directed towards the procurement of weapons, fully covering the annual need, while nearly 50 billion hryvnias will be allocated for the production and acquisition of UAVs.
