Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement, as reported by the Turkish agency Anadolu.
At the same time, the Ukrainian leader emphasized that "the U.S. factor plays a significant role in shaping these opinions."
"If NATO is not an option, what security guarantees are we discussing?" - the head of state expressed.
However, Zelensky also stressed that his country has a strong army, but it constantly requires weapons and funding to maintain it. Additionally, Ukraine needs guarantees of economic security; Zelensky stated that "for this, we must enter a large market like the European Union."
It is worth noting that earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned that he would not remove Ukraine's membership in the North Atlantic Alliance from the negotiating table under any circumstances.
