According to the publication, a representative from the country's defense ministry stated that Germany "will not shy away" from sending troops to Ukraine if the appropriate frameworks are agreed upon.
However, he noted that it is still too early to delve into the details of the proposals.
This statement was made by the German defense representative just before today's summit of European leaders in Paris.
The spokesperson for the German government mentioned that they do not expect specific outcomes from the negotiations.
Nevertheless, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz told reporters that "we must ensure that Europe faces future challenges strongly, sovereignly, and with a straight back."
"I am confident that we can formulate a clear position," he emphasized.
