He stated this in an interview with CNN.
"Ukraine can fight on its own with our European support for the rest of the year, and I believe Putin should take this into account," the Polish minister remarked.
Sikorski did not directly answer whether he believes the U.S. will provide Ukraine with security guarantees.
Instead, he noted that for Ukraine, the best security guarantee is "its nearly one-million-strong army resisting Russian aggression."
Recall that the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, mentioned that Ukraine seeks a fair and lasting peace, "with ironclad security guarantees."
