The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, anticipates that "there will be some resolution to the Ukrainian conflict by 2025." Reports TSN. This information comes from Kontrakty.UA.

"Some resolution to the Ukrainian conflict will occur this year. I’m not saying that the war will end or anything like that. The conflict will likely continue for a long time. However, there will be a resolution. A light at the end of the tunnel will appear this year," Lukashenko stated, adding that the United States will not compel Russia to act in their interests regarding Ukraine.
It’s worth recalling that Lukashenko shared his own version of events that took place on the night of February 24, 2022. According to him, military exercises involving several thousand Russian soldiers were allegedly conducted on the territory of Belarus.
Additionally, Alexander Lukashenko accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of attempting to draw Minsk into the conflict.
On January 26, Belarus will hold presidential elections. Lukashenko has not abandoned his ambitions - he is running for the seventh time.
