This is reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the press service of Ukraine's mission to NATO. This information is also conveyed by Kontrakty.UA.

On January 16, a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council took place at NATO headquarters at the level of commanders of the armed forces.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, participated in the meeting online.

He expressed gratitude to allies for their support in the fight against Russian aggression, including the establishment of the NSATU mission (NATO Special Mission for Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine), which will play a crucial role in coordinating assistance to Ukraine.

Syrskyi informed partners about the operational and strategic situation at the front, his assessment of Russia's plans regarding the continuation of the war, and forecasts concerning its future actions.

The Commander-in-Chief also presented to allies Ukraine's action strategy for 2025. He specifically emphasized the importance of enhancing air defense for Ukraine, particularly for the protection of critical infrastructure, as well as the capability to strike military targets deep within Russian territory.

Additionally, Syrskyi urged NATO member states to invest in Ukraine's defense industry following the "Danish model," and to provide further support in military training, including not only training outside Ukraine but also supporting the initiative to conduct exercises on Ukrainian training grounds with the involvement of instructors from Allied states.

It is noted that allies assured that support for Ukraine will remain steadfast and confirmed their readiness to provide necessary assistance.

Recall that during the 25th meeting in the "Ramstein" format on January 9, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov presented Ukraine's military strategy for 2025.

This strategy is based on four key priorities: stabilizing the front line, strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities, enhancing the protection of airspace and sea routes, and providing an asymmetric response to the aggressor's attempts to gain an advantage through scale.
